Maria Barone, Esq. originally from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, received her B.A. from Michigan State University in Communications.   She graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School Cum Laude and in the top 5% of her class.  Before entering private practice, she was employed at Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith P.C., in Lansing, Michigan.  She is a former adjunct professor at Thomas Cooley Law School.  She practices exclusively family law.  She is the oldest of two children.

Joseph Barone, Esq. originally from Flint, Michigan received his B.A. in Business from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Cooley Law School.  He also has an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Wayne State University.  Before entering private practice, he was a financial planner.  He was licensed in real estate sales and life and health insurance.  He also successfully passed the Series 6 and Series 63 securities licensing exams.  He is a member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, the Probate and Estate Planning and the Elder Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan.  He is also licensed to practice law in Illinois.  His primary practice areas include personal injury, drunk driving, and estate planning.  He is the youngest of four children.
